YOGA HAUS

Located on the highest point in the valley and facing towards the sunset, Yoga Haus embraces the natural environment, built using locally sourced wood and energy-efficient materials, suitable to its location in a steep-sloped mountain forest. 

The meditation and yoga shala is a round, uninterrupted space which embraces continuity and both inward and outward projection. The hut protects from the sun and rain, while the adjustable vertical panels allow for expansive views of the valley. There are many hidden gems around the project that encourage unexpected interactions, as well as allow for private moments of reflection. In addition to the main hut, the project contains a suspended infinity pool, communal kitchen, zen garden, sauna and private meditation pods. All rainwater is stored, filtered and recycled and the kitchen roof contains solar panels, creating a completely off-the-grid development.
